My Friend

Friend is where I play and where I share stories . Friends are the family outside the home . I have a lot of friends . Happy to be able to have a lot of friends . Friends can also give opinions. We can also ask for help from a friend . It could also alleviate the problem for us .

We also like to travel together . Friends of our knowledge increases . Playing with friends is very enjoyable . While playing we could laugh and joke together . If I do not have any friends , maybe my life would be empty . And friends to relieve boredom , like hanging out with friends . Sometimes we go to the top together . So that we can breathe the cool air

I sometimes stay with friends I had , and vice versa . In addition to studying , friends can also be used to study together . By learning together we will be easier to do homework that is given from the teacher . I am grateful to my friends . Friends who have accompanied me and for worse . I know you can senag . My beloved family

I was the first child of four siblings . I live in Central Jakarta . My family consists of father , mother , and younger sister . My father worked as an entrepreneur . My mother worked as an entrepreneur . My brother was still in elementary school . And that taught me to this day that my family

Every night we always eat together . After eating we took time for a family gathering . When our family gathering to share stories . Stories about school , friends , and our activities on that day or earlier . Every week we clean the house together . Dad and I cleaned the home page . Mom and my sister clean up the house .

Every month we travel to tourist attractions . I love it when we are traveling with family . I am very happy to have a family . I want to study diligently . Because only then that I could be happy with my parents . I say thank you to my parents who have raised me up for this . Once again I would like to thank my parents.

Experience when my vacation

 The holidays often mean by traveling to a tourist spot . But to me that a vacation is arguably a little different from the other holidays . Because the holidays when I invited my father to help him in his work . Because if I do not go , then my dad would go alone . First I was hesitant to go with my father . But with great curiosity , I finally went with my father . And there I was driving a car to get to the destination .

At the time I got there, I and my father immediately brought supplies from the trunk of the car . We took a tape measure and sample materials . So my father is a businessman curtain , so work measuring windows and doors . Then sew at home and finish it at home that have been mounted directly measured previously . Upon arriving home we met the owner of the house and directly measure it . Afterwards we measured directly give examples of materials that we have to choose from . Once the work is finished we went back home . And there I just know how we are to get the money . How difficult it is for us to make money , if we do not try to get tuk . Maybe my vacation did not like that my friend . But I'm glad my vacation this time . Although I did not have fun in the holidays , but I 've got experience in the job . THE ARTICLE

(KATA SANDANG)

Article (Kata Sandang) bukan termasuk dalam golongan “The Eight Paris of Speech”, tetapi article dikelompokkan dalam golongan Adjective (Kata Sifat), yaitu jenis Demonstrative Adjective.

TYPES OF ATICLE (JENIS-JENIS KATA SANDANG)

Dalam tata bahasa Inggris (English Grammar), kata sandang (article) dapat diklarifikasikan menjadi 2 (dua) jenis, yaitu :

1.     DEFINITE ARTICLE (Kata Sandang Tertentu)

Definite article (kata sandang tertentu) adalah kata sandang yang digunakan untuk menunjukkan kata benda yang sudah jelas atau tertentu. Yang termasuk definite artikel adalah kata “the”.

“The” merupakan bentuk pengganti dari ”this, these, that, those”.

Terkadang dalam bahasa Indonesia “the” tidak diterjemahkan, tetapi menunjukkan bahwa bendanya telah diketahui secara pasti.

Pemakaian Definite Article “The”

Definite article “the” dapat digunakan didepan :

Nama dari suatu benda yang hanya ada satu-satunya

·       the moon                          (bulan)

·       the sun                             (matahari)

·       the air                               (udara)

·       the sky                             (angkasa)

·       the earth                           (bumi)

Kata benda (noun) yang telah disebutkan atau ditentukan dalam kalimat sebelumnya, misalnya :

·       There a boy  in the park. Is the boy my friend?

Ada seorang anak laki-laki di taman. Apakah anak laki-laki itu teman saya?

·       I have a new bag. The new bag is red.

Saya mempunyai sebuah tas baru. Tas itu warnanya merah.

2.     Indenfinite Article (kata sandang tak tentu)

Indefinite article (kata sandang tak tentu) adalah kata sandang yang digunakan untuk menggambarkan kata benda dalam pernyataan umum atau menggambarkannya secara tidak tentu.

Didalam bahas Indonesia indefinite article “a” dan “an” mempunyai arti yang bermacam-macam sesuai dengan kata benda yang disertainya, misalnya sebuah, sebutir, seekor, sebatang, selembar, sepucuk, sehelai, sebiji, sepapan, sepotong, dan sebagainya.

Indefinite article “a” dan “an” adalah bentuk pengganti dari kata sifat “one” yang memiliki arti “satu”.

Aturan Pemkaian Indefinite Article “a” dan “an”

Indefinite article “a” digunakan di depan kata benda tunggal yang huruf awalnya merupakan konsonan (huruf mati) atau huruf hidup yang berbunyi seperti huruf mati, misalnya :

·       a book                    (sebuah buku)

·       a pen                      (sebuah pensil)

·       a university             (sebuah universitas)

·       a union                   (sebuah perserikatan)

·       a european             (sebuah bangsa eropa)

Indefinite article “an” digunakkan di depan kata benda tunggal yang huruf awalnya merupakan vokal (huruf hidup) atau huruf mati yang berbunyi seperti huruf hidup, misalnya :

·       an egg                    (sebutir telur)

·       an apple                 (sebuah apel)

·       an hour                   (jam)

·       an honest girl          (seorang gadis jujur)

·       an heiress               (seorang ahli waris wanita)

Pemakaian Indefinite Article “a” dan “an”

1)    Di depan nama pangkat, jabatan, kedudukan atau pekerjaan, misalnya :

·       She is a nurse.

Dia seorang perawat.

2)    Di depan keagamaan, misalnya :

·       He is a moeslem.

Dia seorang muslim.

3)    Di depan kebangsaan seseorang, misalnya :

·       I am an Indonesian.

Saya seorang Indonesia.

4)    Di depan nama gelar atau marga, misalnya :

·       She is a Simanjutak.

Dia bermarga Simanjutak.

5)    Di depan kata benda dapat dihitung (countable noun) berbentuk tunggal (reguler), misalnya :

·       I bought  a book last night.

Saya membeli sebuah buku kemarin malam.

6)    Di depan “hundread”, “thousand”, :million” dan seterusnya, misalnya :

·       a million        (satu juta)

one million    (satu juta)

7)    Di depan kata “as”, misalnya :

·       Mr. Dendi work at PT. Murni as a manager.

Tuan Dendi bekerja di PT. Murni sebagai seorang manajer.

8)    Setelah kata “half”, misalnya :

·       half a day      (setengah hari)

·       half an hour  (setengah jam)
