ELEPHANT MUSEUM

The National Museum is located at Jalan Merdeka Barat Jakarta, or precisely located to the west of the monument Monas (National Monument). The museum is also often referred to as Museum Gajah. This is due to the presence of elephant statue at the front of the museum. Bronze elephant statue is a gift from King Chulalongkorn of the Kingdom of Thailand (th 1871). Museum is open daily (except Mondays and national holidays / religious) are also often called Arca Building.

Although it has a wide range of collection of statues, but there is one statue is so well known here, the Arca Bhairawa. In addition to the statue, the national museum (which is the most comprehensive museum in Indonesia) also has a Miniature Space Custom Homes. How not, the entrance fee of Rp. 5.000, - (for adults) and Rp. 2.000, - (for the kids) we can know and learn a lot about the history of the nation through the objects that were there.
